- Own the architecture and write production code for a multi-tenant commerce SaaS platform serving 90+ retailers at peak plus an enterprise 3PL: domain boundaries, API/event contracts, data architecture, security, and the technical roadmap.
- Designed and built the Intelligent Delivery Engine: 416M+ predictions/year at sub-150 ms P99, with machine-learned transit-time models reaching 80-90% accuracy vs 60-80% for carrier SLAs.
- Diagnosed silent data loss (Shopify auto-deregistering slow webhook endpoints under enterprise volume) and re-architected ingestion as webhook-to-Kafka with immediate ACK across 60M+ orders and 80M+ fulfillments: zero data loss since.
- Led the JDK 11 to 21 migration, replacing platform thread pools with virtual threads for I/O-bound carrier fan-out and cutting infrastructure cost.
- Delivered a returns platform in 2 months that unlocked a four-year enterprise pursuit (150K+ returns); surfaced $100K+/month in avoidable carrier costs and architected the rate-shopping engine behind it.
- Designed and personally implemented four production AI copilots (Spring AI, OpenAI, Elasticsearch kNN, RAG, MCP connectors): tracking, config management, onboarding, and root-cause analysis.
