    Enterprise Architect / Staff Software Engineer

    Fenix Commerce Inc. · San Jose, CA

    • Own the end-to-end architecture of a SaaS commerce platform with 10+ modules, serving 40+ retailers: domain model, event-driven backbone, and extensibility patterns.
    • Scaled the Intelligent Delivery Engine from 44M to 416M+ requests/year at sub-150ms P99 latency.
    • Rebuilt order/fulfillment ingestion into event-driven Kafka processing, sustaining 2.5M+ orders/month with zero data loss.
    • Personally built two production RAG copilots (Spring AI); now building two agentic ones with Jira integration.
    • Lead the customer onboarding and Level 1 support teams, in addition to architecture. Onboarded 100+ customers over time (40+ active today).
    • Lead a 15-engineer team through Agile delivery, architecture governance, and Sev-1 response, plus a live Java 21/Spring Boot 4.0 platform migration.
